The Library is where your finished calls live in the desktop app. Your calls and your questions about them sit in one list, and you can ask questions that span many calls at once.

One list

Open Library in the app and you see a single list, newest first. It holds two kinds of rows:
  • Calls. Each row shows the call title and when it ended.
  • Library chats. These are your questions to the Library. A small planet icon marks them.
Open a call and you get two tabs. Summary has the notes StageWhisper wrote after the call, ending with an action items checklist, and a chat box for questions about that one call. Transcript has the full text.

Search your calls

The search box at the top reads Search your calls. It starts filtering as you type.
  1. Calls and Library chats whose title contains your words show up right away.
  2. Calls that mention your words anywhere in the transcript or the summary come next. This works for names, acronyms and numbers, like “KRS” or an invoice number.
  3. If Library search is turned on, calls that match by meaning are added below them. That helps when you don’t remember the title or the exact words.
If nothing fits, the list says No calls match. Click the × in the box, or press Escape, to clear the search and get your full list back. Library search is a one-time download, and the matching runs on your computer. Turn it on in Settings, Engine, under Library search.

Ask across all your calls

The box at the bottom of the Library reads Ask about your calls. Type a question that reaches past a single call, like “What did the Sealand team say about pricing?” or “Which calls mentioned a deadline in March?” While StageWhisper works, you see short lines such as which summaries and transcripts it is reading. Then the answer streams in, with the calls it came from listed under From your calls. Click a source to open that call. Press Stop if you want to cancel an answer. Your questions are saved as chats:
  • Ask a follow-up and the answer uses the conversation so far.
  • Click ← Library at the top of a chat to go back to the list, then ask a new question from the box at the bottom. The old chat stays in the list, marked with the planet icon, and you can reopen it any time.
  • Calls you delete later stay mentioned in old chats as This call was deleted.

Delete a call or a chat

Hover over a row and click the trash icon. The icon turns red and asks you to click again to permanently delete. If you don’t click again within a few seconds, nothing is deleted.

Who answers

Your Library questions are answered by one of two things, picked in this order:
  1. Signals, if you have a Signals subscription. Your question and the call excerpts it needs are sent to StageWhisper to produce the answer. This applies even if you have your own assistant connected or picked the model on your computer.
  2. Your own assistant (Hermes or OpenClaw), if you picked it in Settings, Engine. The question and excerpts go straight from your computer to your assistant. They never pass through StageWhisper.
The model on your computer doesn’t answer Library questions. If you picked it in Settings, Engine, and don’t have Signals, the Library is your list and the search box, with no ask box. Chats you started before stay in the list, and you can open and read them. To ask again, pick your own assistant there, or get Signals. Asking a question never uploads your Library. Your saved chats are encrypted on your computer, and only your question and the excerpts it needs go to whoever is answering. If no one can answer right now, you still get the calls that match your question, plus a short note on what to fix. Signals has a daily limit on answers. When you reach it you see That’s all the answers for today. and the matching calls.

Availability

The Library list and search come with the desktop app. Asking across all your calls is rolling out in stages, so you may not see the ask box yet. Answers need Library search downloaded, and either a Signals subscription or Founders with your own assistant connected in Settings, Engine. With the model on your computer picked there instead, you get the list and search but no ask box. If you see a notice instead of an answer, it says what is missing. When there is something to set up, a button takes you there.
