StageWhisper billing runs through Stripe. You manage everything from the web dashboard.

Viewing your subscription

Go to dashboard.stagewhisper.io/subscription. You’ll see:
  • Your current plan and status (active, trialing, canceled, past due)
  • Billing cycle dates
  • Signals minutes used and remaining (if on a Signals plan)
  • Trial end date (if applicable)

Payment methods

Click “Manage billing” to open the Stripe billing portal. From there you can:
  • Add or update your payment method
  • View past invoices
  • Update your billing email address

Upgrading or downgrading

From the subscription page, select a different plan. Upgrades apply immediately with pro-rated billing for the remainder of your current cycle. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period. If you downgrade from a Signals plan to Coach, tone analysis stops being available once the downgrade takes effect. Your existing session data (including tone data from previous sessions) is not deleted.

Canceling

You can cancel your subscription from the Stripe billing portal. When you cancel:
  • Your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period.
  • After that, you lose access to live sessions and coaching features.
  • Your account and session history remain accessible. You can still log in and review past sessions.
  • You can resubscribe at any time.

Past due and failed payments

If a payment fails, Stripe retries it according to its standard retry schedule. During this period your subscription status shows as “past due.” You still have access to features while Stripe retries. If all retries fail, your subscription is marked as unpaid and features are restricted until you update your payment method.

Founding Edition

The Founding Edition is a one-time $399 purchase. No recurring charges. After you buy it, your Founding Edition status shows up on the subscription page. It includes lifetime usage, lifetime security upgrades, and one year of free feature upgrades. You need your own AI through a BYO AI provider to use it. If you’d rather have us handle the AI processing, grab a monthly plan instead. Refunds go through Stripe. A full refund revokes your Founding Edition access. Partial refunds don’t change anything.

Invoices

All invoices are available in the Stripe billing portal. Click “Manage billing” from the subscription page to access them.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account from the web dashboard under Settings > Danger Zone. This removes your account, all session data, and cancels your subscription. This action cannot be undone.
